Who can participate?

Thank you for reaching out to the UF Lastinger Center for Learning!

The New Worlds Reading Initiative Teacher Professional Learning sessions are available to K-5 classroom teachers who work directly with students in Florida public and charter schools and VPK lead teachers and aides who work at a VPK contracted provider. This criteria also includes coaches who works directly with students (i.e. Instructional Coaches, Intervention Coaches, Literacy Coaches) and resource teachers who work directly with students (i.e. ESE, VE, Reading). Those who complete the Interest Form will be informed of their eligibility about four weeks prior to their session start date.
